Key Responsibilities:

Data Management:

  • Administer Office365/Azure, ERP systems (Dynamics GP, SalesPad), and integrated software (CRM, Customer Survey Platform, Paycom).
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses or data marts, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, integration processes, and cleansing procedures.
  • Optimize and fine-tune SQL queries and data models for performance.

Data Governance & Architecture:

  • Implement data governance practices ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in data architecture and modeling discussions for scalability and flexibility in BI solutions.

Business Intelligence Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain BI reports, dashboards, automated alerts, and visualizations using industry-leading tools.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
  • Implement automation in systems like Microsoft GP, Taulia, and SalesPad.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting:

  • Monitor and troubleshoot data solutions to resolve performance issues or data discrepancies.
  • Stay current with industry trends in BI and data analytics, bringing innovative ideas to enhance data capabilities.

Collaboration & Support:

  • Work with cross-functional teams (data analysts, data scientists, business users) to provide data-driven solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools.
  • Collaborate with third-party IT vendors as necessary and assist in data capture, planning, and software implementations.

Project Involvement:

  • Participate in planning and executing data projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.
  • Contribute to the Opportunity Analysis Team by researching, resolving issues, and documenting processes.

Role Specific Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of cloud-hosted (Azure), web-based, and SaaS software systems.
  • Proficiency with MS SQL, PowerShell, Python.
  • Experience in data warehouse design, schema structuring, and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Transact-SQL, and database design principles.
  • Familiarity with .Net Framework, JavaScript, HTML, and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
  • Experience with cloud-based API integrations (e.g., AWS, Azure), RESTful and SOAP APIs, and data formats (JSON, XML).
  • Understanding of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, API keys).

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of Backend SQL Development experience required.
  • Experience with PowerBI and SSRS preferred.
  • Positive work attitude, professional demeanor, and strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Prior experience with Microsoft GP, SalesPad, ZenDesk, and StockIQ is a plus but not required.
