Duration: 1 Year plus contract assignment with possible Contract to Hire

Project Locations: Indiana, Texas, New Jersey, New York, California, Colorado, etc..

MOB/DMOB and per diem based on location.


Our EPC client is looking for Electrical Superintendents to join their team to work on current and upcoming projects throughout the US. Initial project locations are in the states of Indiana, Texas, New Jersey, New York, California, Colorado. But you could be assigned to projects in other states as well.

These projects are in the Medium Voltage Heavy Industrial sector, such as: Renewables, Solar, Power Generation, Oil, Gas, Chemicals, Refinery, Food plants. Mix of Greenfield and Brownfield projects.

Looking for experienced Superintendents and Foreman with 10 plus years experience managing related projects, crews and subcontractors in the field.


We are looking for someone with a background in the heavy industrial sector.

We are not interested in someone with strictly commercial background.

It would be ideal if this candidate has experience managing LOTO but it's not necessarily a requirement.



The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for field operations on the assigned project(s) in order to achieve safe, timely and profitable completion of each project. Plans, organizes, and supervises specific portions of medium voltage electrical construction work for an assigned area of a construction project. Responsible for the construction scheduling of the electrical related activities of the subcontractors to confirm the completion of contractual construction activities. Maintains continuity of job progress and maximizes efficiencies related to the assigned area

  • Responsible for the oversight of the following types of work activities: raceway, cable tray, electrical panels, ductbank, grounding, switchgear, transformers, low and medium voltage electrical equipment, wiring, motors, heat tracing, instrumentation, instrumentation calibrations, loop checks and point to point checks, and electrical and control testing.
  • Responsible for overall supervision of construction effort, which includes: safety, productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, materials management, scheduling, engineering, and contractual performance of the project.
  • Responsible for subcontractor contractual compliance on designated electrical construction related activities.
  • Build effective client and subcontractor relationships. Interface with client representatives, A/E representatives, and other contractors.
  • Provide oversight of electrical and instrumentation installation.
  • Complete daily field reports and take daily pictures to document construction progress.
  • Direct and manage subcontractor as necessary to comply with the established project schedule, and track and verify progress on an installed quantity and work hour basis.
  • Provide oversight of project site material and tool management.
  • Supervises and directs the daily efforts of the physical construction of the project through daily coordination of all field activities, subcontractor direction, and code/specification compliance

Requirements:

  • 10 years construction management experience or craft supervision experience on electrical projects.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills, and a strong safety background.
