In your role as a Financial Advisor, you can expect to:

·    Work alongside the firm’s founder and principal advisor to adopt the firm’s philosophies, strategies, values, and standards for your clients.

·    Collaborate with the team to master the processes and systems that underlie the firm’s value proposition.

·    Take on some duties in managing the business alongside the founder.

·    Embrace business development opportunities that arise.

·    Share your ideas and perspectives on the business and the industry.

·    Discover new or updated tools and resources to keep the firm on the cutting edge.

·    Ensure a consistent experience for all clients of the firm through:

·    Producing client deliverables in a timely, accurate, and informative manner

·    Continuously maintaining relationships with clients and understanding their unique circumstances, connections, talents, interests, etc.

·    Responding to client service needs throughout the year

·    Staying current on trends within the financial planning and investment arena

 

 

Requirements:

  • BA or BS in business; advanced degree/designation a plus (e.g., MBA, CFP®, CPA, etc.)

Ø Prior enrollment or willingness to enroll in CFP® certification program

Ø Insurance certifications (e.g., ChFC), as appropriate

  • FINRA Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 or 66 registrations
  • Five-plus years of experience building own book of business successfully; experience working with NFS processes and forms a plus 
  • Excellent knowledge and communication of financial planning concepts and terminology
  • Excellent knowledge of and ability to explain products, such as mutual funds, stocks, bonds, insurance, and annuities.
  • Firsthand knowledge of third-party asset management systems, including how they work, their benefits, and their drawbacks.
  • Comfort discussing estate planning issues.
  • Proficiency with computer programs, including MS Office (particularly Excel), MoneyGuidePro™, CRM systems, Argus, Broadridge Forefield Advisor, Morningstar® Advisor WorkstationSM, Value Line, etc.
  • Relationship-building skills and commitment to establishing long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial; goal-oriented at an individual and team level
  • A commitment to providing outstanding client service.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • A commitment to conduct business with honesty and integrity.
