Position Overview: As a Multifamily Superintendent, you will oversee the daily operations and management of multifamily construction projects in the greater Knoxville, TN area. The ideal candidate excels in a dynamic, team-oriented environment within a small company setting and has a proven track record in multifamily construction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Schedule and manage subcontractors, vendors, and site staff to ensure timely project completion.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
  • Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and logs.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, design teams, owners, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to project budget and schedule.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Conduct pre-construction meetings and regular progress meetings with the project team.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in multifamily construction.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction processes, means, and methods.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office.
  • OSHA certification and other relevant safety training preferred.
