Senior Android DevOps Engineer

This role is onsite in our Dallas/Fort Worth area office 3 days per week and 2 days (M&F) remote/from home.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design stable, scalable CI/CD pipelines for Android apps, ensuring smooth app deployment from development to production
  • Deploy Android apps to the Google Play Store, handling app signing, packaging, and versioning for seamless release management
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure to meet evolving project needs
  • Lead the planning of deployment strategies, ensuring smooth transitions now and in the future
  • Mentor junior engineers, guiding them through best practices and cutting-edge industry standards
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in Android development.
  • Thought Leadership As a consultant you will lead our client in their digital transformation with your extensive Android experience


What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of professional DevOps experience, including at least 5 years of Android CI/CD expertise
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines, etc
  • Expertise in containers (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of Android Studio SDKs and experience deploying apps via the Google Play Console
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi
  • Comfort with the Linux command line and scripting in Bash, Typescript, Python, or similar languages
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, EFK to troubleshoot and optimize systems
