Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior HR Coordinator to join their team The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and fostering a positive work environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of insurance plans, 401k, workers' compensation, and other employee benefits. Act as a liaison between employees and third-party benefit providers
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including updating and maintaining the employee handbook.
  • Pre-Employment Processes: Coordinate pre-employment activities such as job postings, drug screenings, and background checks.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, conduct safety training, and perform safety rides and walkthroughs to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Day to Day HR Coordination: Handle daily HR activities, including coordination with employees, managing compliance paperwork, apparel orders, E-Verify, and I-9 verification.
  • H2A Program Management: Oversee the H2A worker program.
  • Employee Relations: Facilitate effective communication between employees and management, and address employee concerns promptly.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate and deliver training programs to ensure employee compliance and development.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, with a focus on compliance, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements, particularly OSHA regulations.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to act as a liaison between employees and third-party benefit providers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
