We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior ETL Tester with expertise in Informatica IDMC testing, SQL, Snowflake (or similar RDBMS), and Control-M job scheduling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating ETL processes, ensuring data integrity, and supporting end-to-end testing of data pipelines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes using Informatica (IDMC).
• Validate data transformations, mappings, and workflows against business requirements and technical specifications.
• Write, execute, and debug SQL queries to verify data accuracy and integrity across various databases, including Snowflake or other RDBMS.
• Perform data validation testing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with requirements.
• Schedule, monitor, and execute ETL jobs using Control-M, ensuring job dependencies and timing requirements are met.
• Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and analysts to identify and resolve ETL and data quality issues.
• Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Document testing processes, results, and defects while ensuring proper traceability and audit readiness.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in ETL testing with strong expertise in Informatica (IDMC).
• Proficiency in writing and executing complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or other relational database management systems (RDBMS).
• Experience in job scheduling and monitoring using Control-M or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse and ETL concepts, including data transformations, workflows, and mappings.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and testing processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Shell for data and test automation.
• Certification in Informatica or Snowflake is a plus.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks for data testing.
