Position: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Pay: $70k to $95k/year + a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 based on experience

Experience:

  • 10 years of industrial maintenance experience is required (preferably in the beverage industry, food, or pharma)
  • 5 years of maintenance experience is required
  • 3 to 4 years of supervisory experience is required

Education: High school diploma or GED

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3 p.m. to 12 a.m.

  • Job Description:
  • Assign and track PM tasks, monitor completion and ensure accurate tracking of completion rates
  • Oversee and manage daily activities of Mechanics and the Parts Clerk, ensuring efficient workflow
  • Enforce compliance with all safety standards, policies and procedures
  • Schedule maintenance staff based on workload, vacations and operational needs
  • Continuously review plant equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime, address issues promptly and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety protocols where applicable
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to stay within budgetary constraints
  • Develop departmental procedures and provide training to ensure proper implementation


Position Requirements:

  • Experience with PLC and controls required
  • Strong leadership, oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential
  • Ability to communicate effectively with highly skilled technicians
  • Capable of troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with effective stress management skills
  • Flexibility to work necessary hours to complete tasks
