WE ARE HIRING – PROJECT ENGINEER

Banks Engineering, Inc. is searching for qualified candidates for a full-time Project Engineer role that would involve the planning, design, and preparation of construction documents for the following project types:

  • Subdivision design and site development projects.
  • Grading, drainage and utility design.
  • Water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
  • Stormwater Drainage studies including Hydrology calculations & technical report writing.
  • Roadways and pedestrian / bicycle facilities.
  •  Mapping and GIS applications.

Banks Engineering is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm located in Nicholasville, KY, providing civil engineering, landscape architecture, and land surveying services. Our small firm delivers big results for our clients. Our talented staff can lead a project from property acquisition to construction implementation.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Current or pending Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Certification as an Engineer-in-Training (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • 0-5 years or relevant experience. Experience working on infrastructure and construction projects is a plus
  •  Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other related design software
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  •  Effective communication and teamwork skills
  •  Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Recent and upcoming graduates are welcome to apply
