Job Summary

The Respiratory Lead Therapist ensures the provision of safe, effective respiratory services and products to patients at home including therapeutics, diagnostics, oxygen, and respiratory equipment. This responsibility extends to a 24-hour basis in coordination with the department Manager. It also extends to a 24-hour / 7-day basis by the nature of care that Prompt Care provides. The successful candidate must be proficient in all phases of respiratory care and must have the skills to lead a growing team of Respiratory Therapist clinicians.

Qualifications:

• · Must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory School and must have current RCP state licensure in the state inquiring about employment and in good standing
• · Must be willing to get cross-licensed in other states as determined by the Regional Director of
• Respiratory Operations, at the company’s expense.
• · Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance in good standing
• · At least 2 years’ experience as a working Respiratory Therapist is required.
• · Experience in the home setting is highly desirable.
• · Must have the desire and skill to manage a team of Respiratory Therapists.
• · Previous experience managing RTs in the field is highly desirable.
• · CRTT or RRT certification is required.
