Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with frontend developers, ensuring seamless integration of backend services with user interfaces.

  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team practices and processes.
  • Mentor junior developers and assist in upskilling the team.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring the adoption of best practices.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in full stack development with a strong focus on backend/API development.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Python programming.
  • Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), with experience in deploying and managing applications.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Proficient in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
  • Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices in API development, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
  • Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
