Job Title: Superintendent – Heavy Civil Construction (Roads & Bridges)


We are seeking an experienced and motivated Superintendent to lead our heavy civil construction projects, specializing in roads and bridges. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring all construction activities are aligned with project specifications, schedules, and safety standards.
  • Lead and manage field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain efficiency and a collaborative environment.
  • Optimize resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maintain productivity and meet project deadlines.
  • Enforce compliance with all safety, quality control, and environmental regulations.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address challenges, provide updates, and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage and adjust construction schedules as needed to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including daily reports, inspections, and safety protocols.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy civil construction, specifically in roads, bridges, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Proven ability to lead construction teams and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high standards.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety practices, regulations, and quality control measures.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving project demands.


Preferred:

  • Experience on DOT or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with construction management software and scheduling tools.
  • Road and/or bridge construction experience
