Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Civil Estimator to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals for civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare detailed estimates and proposals for civil construction projects.
  • Utilize OST software to accurately calculate materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to determine project scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Review and evaluate subcontractor bids to ensure compliance with project requirements and budget.
  • Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and change orders as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and project costs.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide cost analysis and recommendations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction estimating.
  • Advanced knowledge of Sitework, earthwork, UG Utilities, Geotechnical, and Civil Construction.
  • Proficient in the use of OST software or similar estimating programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
