4 Corner Resources is looking for a Service Desk Technician for one of our clients working in the Education industry. We are looking for a candidate who has experience in the IT field to support technology systems for business applications. This is an onsite position in Florida, all applicants MUST be Florida residents. This will be a contract-based position for 1 year.


Service Desk Technician Overview:

The Technician will be tasked with providing tier 2 support and configuration for applications with the clients organization. You will be responsible for supporting technology systems for business applications, which include Enterprise Resource Planning, Customer Relationship Management, and Human Resource Information Systems. You will produce weekly status reports to your direct supervisor in the IT department.


Service Desk Technician Job Description:

  • Set up and configuration of applications
  • Providing Tier 2 support for business applications that are within the enterprise
  • Develop recommendations for improving the way software service support is completed
  • Implement and manage positive working relationships within the company
  • Analyze performance of different programs and correct issues of said programs
  • Produce weekly status reports of projects
  • Consultation for evaluation of packaged applications
  • Implementation, configuration and deployment of new software applications


Service Desk Technician Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems; OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience; OR associates degree in Computer Science/Information w/ two years of software and application delivery and support experience
  • Any Microsoft, Apple, or ITIL certifications preferred
  • Experience with set up, configuration, and support tools of specific business application packages (ERP, CRM, or HRIS)
  • Experience with eazyBI and Jira Advanced Roadmaps is preferred.
  • Experience with programming and .NET technologies preferred


Service Desk Technician Pay Rate and Capacity:

  • Standard business hours, M-F (8am-5pm or 9am-5pm)
  • Pay rate of $25-30/hr
  • Onsite, all applicants MUST reside in Florida
  • Contract for 1 year duration
