Our company is seeking a significantly experienced Senior Engineer - Tech Lead to join a globally recognized Financial Services client of ours based in NYC. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for leading a technical team to deliver top quality innovative API solutions.

Main Duties

  • Lead and manage the technical team to develop high-quality API solutions and Distributed Systems
  • Resolve technical issues and provide mentorship to team members
  • Conduct code and design reviews to ensure system reliability, efficiency, and performance
  • Define and track key metrics to assess overall business performance
  • Implementing strategic technological advancements to drive financial growth

Requirements

  • JavaScript, NodeJS, Java, Distributed Systems, API's, System Design & Architecture
  • Leading technical decisions for highly scaleable software systems, leading projects and team delegation
  • Hands on experience in designing and developing Orchestrator layers and API's
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in software development and system engineering
  • Proficiency in software development methodologies and structured approaches to system development
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in mentoring technical teams
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • A master's degree in an IT related discipline
  • Certification in leadership or project management
  • Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies
