Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing pre-sales team: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a team of pre-sales engineers and solution architects, ensuring their expertise spans both cloud infrastructure and security domains.
  • Develop and execute a technical sales strategy: Collaborate with sales leadership to define the technical sales strategy and ensure alignment with overall business objectives, emphasizing the synergy between cloud infrastructure and security solutions.
  • Drive technical sales execution: Lead the pre-sales team in delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts to prospective customers, showcasing the company's ability to secure cloud infrastructure effectively.
  • Provide technical expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on the company's cloud infrastructure and security solutions and the broader cloud landscape, addressing both infrastructure and security considerations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders: Develop strong relationships with sales leaders, product management, marketing, and engineering, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment across departments.
  • Collaborate with product management: Provide feedback on product features and roadmap based on customer needs and market trends, considering both infrastructure and security requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends: Continuously monitor and evaluate the latest cloud infrastructure and security technologies and best practices, keeping the team abreast of developments.

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure & security: Extensive knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies (compute, storage, networking) and security solutions (IAM, data security, threat detection, etc.), with a focus on their interplay.
  • Proven track record in technical sales leadership: Experience leading and developing a high-performing pre-sales team, ideally with a focus on cloud infrastructure and security solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts (both infrastructure and security-related) clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex customer challenges involving cloud infrastructure and security and develop creative solutions.
  • Passion for technology and innovation: A genuine interest in staying ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving cloud infrastructure and security landscape.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling cloud infrastructure and security solutions to enterprise customers.
  • Certifications in relevant cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and security domains.
