Alexander Technology Group is currently working with a manufacturing client that is looking to hire a Help Desk Technician to join their team in Gorham, Maine.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software, including operating systems, Office 365 applications, and other business-critical software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 10, Office 365, and other desktop applications.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and software installations as needed.
  • Collaborate with other members of the IT team to identify and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Document technical procedures and solutions for reference by other team members and end-users.
  • Provide training and assistance to end-users on the use of desktop hardware and software.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a desktop support role, with a strong focus on Windows 10 and Office 365.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are a plus.
