Responsibilities:

As a CDL-B Driver at Al Warren Oil, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Safely operating company vehicles, adhering to all federal, state, and local driving laws and regulations
  • Delivering fuel and lubricant products to our customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Loading and unloading products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and documentation
  • Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintenance requirements are met
  • Communicating effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members to provide exceptional customer service
  • Accurately completing all required paperwork, including delivery receipts, manifests, and driver logs
  • Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle and work environment
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with industry best practices and safety standards

Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A or CDL-B license with Hazmat and Tank endorsements
  • Must be at least 23 years of age
  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably in fuel and lubricant delivery
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local driving laws and regulations
  • Ability to meet all U.S. DOT requirements
  • Good driving record and MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy loads
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and DOT physical
