Ideally, this candidate will have 10+ years of MySQL experience as a developer (not DBA) and a minimum of 2 yrs as a MySQL Architect.

Job Summary

• have 10-12 years of experience in MySQL Aurora database concepts and architecture
• be hands-on in designing/defining architecture for solutions in MySQL, need basic administration knowledge of MySQL
• be hands-on in developing Procedures, Triggers, and Functions in MySQL Aurora DB
• be aware of the optimization/ Query performance tuning techniques of MySQL to handle very large datasets
• be aware of bulk update/insert concepts of MySQL

Roles & Responsibilities

• in developing complex applications based on technical and functional specifications.
• in the development of and adhering to technical and functional standards.
• Under limited direction, research, define, & complete required additions and changes to financial software products.
• limited direction, analyze technical specifications for both the creation of new or enhancing existing applications for compatibility with other systems.
• in strategic planning sessions and technical discussions and demonstrate the ability to assist in translating ideas into technical designs.
• with external, as well as, internal clients for the purpose of data gathering, assisting with design, and ensuring the development of solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
