Landscape Architect

Our client is seeking a Landscape Architect to join their growing team in Pensacola, FL. The Landscape Architect is responsible for managing all aspects of landscape, hardscape, and irrigation design of projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will have design experience with residential, commercial, mixed-use, parks, and urban projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, design and permitting of landscape architecture projects.
• Lead the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, and designs for projects.
• Plan, schedule and develop tasks and project budgets. Prepare progress reports and draft change orders.
• Perform and manage multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines. Monitor budgets, schedules, and project timelines. Minimize write-offs by keeping projects on budget.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture required.
• Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) in FL with ability to obtain license/certification in AL required.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Landscape Architecture.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Knowledge of local, city, county, and state land use processes and regulations preferred;
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills both written and verbal.
