We’re currently seeking a high-performing Director of Operations to build out of the property operations function for a student housing operator. If all goes well, the right candidate will be on the fast track to VP.This is a prime opportunity for an entrepreneurial leader to build an in-house operations platform, set the organizational playbook, and scale a high-performing team. You will drive portfolio performance across multiple markets, partner on acquisitions and CapEx, and have a clear path to VP of Operations. The platform is known for design-forward product and strong brand marketing, and you will have the autonomy and support to shape long-term growth.If you’d like to be considered, please submit a resume for review.ResponsibilitiesOwn day-to-day operations for a 15+ property student housing portfolio in 8+ marketsLead, mentor, and grow a team of 3 regional managersBuild and implement the operating playbook, SOPs, and an employee handbookPartner on acquisitions, integrations, lease-ups, and value-add or CapEx planningManage portfolio financials including budgets, NOI, P&L, performance dashboardsQualifications5+ years of senior student housing leadership experience at a Regional or higherProven track record building out operations and standing up processes from scratchStrong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, NOI, and reportingExperience with acquisitions, transitions, CapEx planning, and lease-up strategiesWilling and able to travel to each site once per quarter, based in or relocating to AustinPerksEarn total compensation of up to $180k account for base salary plus bonusesClear path to VP as the organization brings management in-house and scalesRelocation assistance to Austin with a flexible move timelineOpportunity to define the operating playbook for a high-growth, student housing platformFull benefits package including all major insurance, 401k, and PTOWe look forward to reviewing your application
