Duration: 6-month contract to hire
Role:
As a liaison between scrum teams and business end-users, the Business Analyst will ensure timely delivery of product roadmap content while identifying risks, challenges, opportunities and growth strategies, business integration needs and retirement plans.
The Analyst will attend and actively participate in scrum meetings and remain engaged in scrum development.
They will interact with clients during feedback sessions, focus groups, user groups and requirements gathering sessions using insight gained to complete business scope documents and define user personas for individual products. The Analyst will also serve as an escalation point for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Works closely with clients and with other system groups to capture business requirements and see them through implementation.
- Acts as a liaison between the business user groups and the technical systems groups.
- Establish relationships with supporting product teams to provide insight into upcoming changes and identify interface risks and impediments as early as possible
- Gather interface needs and requirements from supporting product areas and turn into JIRA stories
- Support interface design, build and delivery
- Ensure adherence to interface versioning and supportability strategies and standards
- Align supporting product teams’ modernization roadmaps
Required Experience:
- Jira experience is a must have
- Agile experience is a must have
- Solid understanding and background in product visioning, product research, mapping out process flows, etc.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- 3+ years of experience in product or business analysis
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
- Willing to take ownership, proactive, flexible, adaptable, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate to all levels in an organization
- Help create and manage the master interface build and transition plan
