My client is looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer strong with ML Fundamentals with expertise in training, fine tuning and improving leading edge deep learning models.

The core mission for my client is to revolutionize the way children learn to read, leveraging the transformative power of AI. As part of their team, you'll harness the capabilities of machine learning to empower every child to become an adept and enthusiastic reader.

  • Your academic journey reflects your natural curiosity and eagerness to learn quickly while embracing a proactive approach to getting things done.
  • Having earned a degree in computer science, or a closely related technical field.
  • High proficiency in Python programming.
  • Hands-on experience in tinkering with and enhancing deep learning models, with a solid grasp of CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, and transformer-based architectures.
  • Determined to master the intricacies of machine learning and neural networks.
  • Keen to join a Silicon Valley startup, ready to immerse yourself in its unique culture and pace. Comfortable collaborating within a remote, distributed team setup.
  • Prioritizing the delivery of quality work and the creation of impactful products. Seeing work as a source of enjoyment and fulfilment rather than just a means to the next weekend.

What will the day-to-day look like?

  • Train, enhance, and assess cutting-edge speech models aimed at detecting and categorizing reading difficulties and errors among children during oral reading sessions.
  • Validate the adaptability of models across various environments, including background noise, multiple speakers, and diverse accents, dialects, and speech variations unrelated to reading proficiency.
  • Provide conceptual insights and supplementary contributions to other machine learning initiatives, such as Language Model Models (LLMs), generative AI, and reinforcement learning projects.
  • Collaboration within a distributed team.
  • Design and execute experiments while prototyping novel learning algorithms and predictive methodologies.
