Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite).

Job Description:

  • Experience In Implementing DevOps solution for enterprise using best practices for software development projects.
  • Experience in implementing and managing a DevOps platform at Enterprise scale, ideally GitLab.
  • Good working knowledge of CI/CD principles and DevOps practices.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Support infrastructure and application in adopting GitLab capabilities for production and workload delivery.
  • Collaborate with GitLab Inc on product roadmap and customer experience.
  • Participate in community efforts to expand core GitLab product functionality.
  • Oversee Deployment and development Plan and control upgrades as appropriate.
  • Implement DevOps practices for all IT software development projects.
  • Manage users, groups, and projects.
  • Communicates well with Team and the stakeholders.
  • Perform Upgrade and Patch installations.
  • Generate Weekly/Monthly Operational Reports
  • Production and update of required documentation
  • Applies and provides technical leadership in developing and validating improved processes, technologies, and large-scale systems to support customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams virtually and in person for Production support and releasing new vendor software upgrades, Operating Systems upgrades, Infrastructure upgrades and Migration of service from datacenters.
  • Participate in Deployments, Production support, Tech Insertion and Data center Migration projects.
  • Develop test scripts and perform testing functions (MTM)
  • Facilitates development and deployment of system integration strategies that promote use of common tools and processes.
  • Works with appropriate product supplier for enhancements and issues not resolved in-house.
  • Draft data and information management products and service standards
  • Participates in technical review boards and provides technical support and consultation for the implementation and usage of the Microsoft products.
  • Requires excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Must feel comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and flexible environment.
  • Must be able to work extended hours as needed including being available for off hours production support
