As a Senior Automation Consultant, you’ll guide and inspire a diverse team to deliver impactful projects, enabling our clients to achieve operational excellence. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders and colleagues from cross-functional teams to tackle complex challenges and perform hands-on engineering tasks. Your collaborative approach will ensure effective communication and success with both customers and internal teams.



Your Responsibilities:


  • Design, implement and maintain complex environments using SaltStack, Terraform, Ansible and Python
  • Develop orchestration and runners to manage intricate interactions
  • Handle client demands and expectations effectively
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their data and technology challenges
  • Provide support during pre-sales phase
  • Assist with customer training and adoption of innovative technologies



Key Skills:


  • Up to date with best practices for Infrastructure as Code and the latest SaltStack features
  • Proficient in widely used automation tools such as Salt, Ansible, and Terraform
  • Familiarity with Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • 2+ years of experience with observability and cybersecurity tools e.g. Splunk, ELK, Cribl
  • 2+ years of experience with scripting languages e.g. Python, Bash
  • Experience with containerized solutions e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift



It would be great if you have some of the following:


  • Global Enterprise experience
  • Knowledgeable in creating custom Salt modules and Salt states tailored to customer needs
  • Proficiency in writing regular expressions
  • Certification in at least one of the following: AWS, Ansible, Terraform
  • Experience of using PMO and ITSM tools e.g. ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence
