You will be responsible for managing all stockroom activities, including inventory control, organization, and maintenance of stockroom standards. Your primary focus will be on maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our back-of-house operations, which is essential to supporting the store’s overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inventory Management: Efficiently receive, check, and organize incoming merchandise, ensuring that all stock is accurately labeled and stored according to Eleventy’s standards.
• Stockroom Organization: Maintain a well-organized, clean, and orderly stockroom to optimize space and facilitate easy access to merchandise.
• Inventory Control: Conduct regular inventory counts, track stock levels, and report any discrepancies to the management team to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Operational Efficiency: Implement best practices for stock management, including optimizing storage solutions, minimizing stock loss, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Product Preparation: Prepare new merchandise for the sales floor by steaming, tagging, and packaging items as required, ensuring all products meet Eleventy’s quality standards before presentation.
• Replenishment: Regularly assess stockroom needs and proactively restock the sales floor in line with store demands and Eleventy’s visual merchandising guidelines.
• Logistics Coordination: Assist with the coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that all deliveries are processed promptly and accurately.
• Loss Prevention: Implement and adhere to loss prevention procedures, including monitoring for potential security risks within the stockroom area.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in stock or inventory roles, preferably within a luxury retail environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment and manage multiple tasks with precision.
• Capability to lift, carry, and move heavy items as necessary, and to stand for extended periods.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of operational excellence and safety.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
