Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field.
  • Experience in the Pharma background is a great plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing and building solutions to an Enterprise applications or similar data management initiatives.
  • Overall 10+ years of experience in the IT Industry. At least 2 + Years of experience providing or playing a solution Architect role for Data & Analytics area.
  • 4+ years of experience on the Databricks, MS Azure platform, Architecting the solution, Design, Development and deployment planning.
  • 2+ years of experience in implementing solutions leveraging Azure IaaS, PaaS.
  • In depth knowledge on few of the key Azure services - VM, Storage, Azure SQL, VNet, Redis Cache, Resource Manager, Azure Diagnostics/ OMS, Traffic Manager, Azure CDN, Azure Notification Hubs, Azure Identity and Access Management, Infrastructure as Code etc.
  • Sound understanding and expertise on Azure Synapse Analytics and implementation knowledge.
  • Strong Expertise in working on Azure Databricks, must have implemented at least 2 programs.
  • Hands on experience in building data pipelines using Databricks, API for various source systems.
  • Good experience of Orchestrating Databricks jobs using the Databricks API
  • Extensive experience in extracting the data from multiple sources using Rest API
  • Strong knowledge of MDM concepts, principles, processes, tools, and best practices will be a great Plus.
  • Experience in managing projects using agile or waterfall methodologies and tools such as Jira, MS Project, etc.
  • PMP, Scrum Certification or other relevant project management certification is a must.
  • Exposure to container technology and orchestration platforms - Dockers, Kubernetes will be added advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, monitor, control projects using agile or waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
  • Define and document the project objectives, scope, requirements, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Manage the project team, stakeholders, vendors, and resources to ensure effective collaboration, delivery ownership and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Understand client needs and technical challenges Develop and present tailored technical solutions.
  • Track and report on the project progress, status, performance, and issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate, and escalate project risks and issues as needed.
  • Design robust, scalable, and secure technical architectures. Ensure solutions align with industry standards and best practices.
  • Manage the project change control process and ensure that any changes are approved and documented.
  • Ensure that the project deliverables meet the quality standards and comply with the client’s policies and procedures.
  • Conduct project reviews and lessons learned sessions to capture feedback and best practices for future projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
