Job Description: HR Generalist (Contractor - Hybrid, Denver)

Contract Details:

Overview:

This Denver-based contractor position focuses on conducting confidential investigations involving conduct, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in compliance with Client policies and applicable laws. The role includes consulting with stakeholders on escalated employee matters such as performance management and accommodations. Supporting primarily the North America region, this role may extend to handling cases across the Client's global operations in over 50 countries.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing complex workplace investigations and using data-driven insights to drive process improvements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute investigation strategies, including planning, conducting, managing, and documenting investigations to mitigate organizational risk.
  • Lead impartial global workplace investigations related to policy violations, discriminatory conduct, harassment, bullying, and workplace violence.
  • Manage an average caseload of 8 complex investigations, aiming for closure within 30 days.
  • Provide recommendations on policy violations, involving relevant stakeholders and aligning with company precedents.
  • Consult with peers on escalations, employee matters, and policy-related concerns.
  • Analyze data trends from investigations and recommend strategic actions to address recurring themes.
  • Draft and present clear, concise investigative reports with findings and resolutions.
  • Maintain confidential and compliant records of all investigations and employee relations matters.
  • Interpret and apply company policies consistently while advising employees and leaders.
  • Collaborate with Legal, HR Business Partners, regional HR teams, physical security, and cyber security on sensitive matters.


Qualifications:

  • Location Requirement: Ability to work onsite at the Denver office, 3 days per week.
  • Languages: Fluency in Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in HR roles (Generalist/Business Partner), focusing on employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
  • 5+ years conducting full-cycle internal employee investigations of significant complexity.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment with global teams across 10+ countries.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of global and international employment laws.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a professional, empathetic demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ServiceNow.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including C-suite.
  • Analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and detailed report writing.
