We are looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated, efficient, and highly organized Part-Time (20-30 hours per week) paralegal / legal secretary for our boutique law firm in Lake County. Compensation is negotiable. Health insurance and other benefits are not included. The position is hybrid and allows for remote and in-office work. At least five years or more of law firm or secretarial experience is a prerequisite. The candidate will be responsible for drafting correspondence, subpoenas, notices, routine motions, and other pleadings. The candidate will also be responsible for requesting, maintaining, and organizing extensive medical records and assembling hearing exhibits using Adobe Acrobat. The candidate must have considerable experience preparing and organizing medical records and exhibits. The candidate must be proficient in typing, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and e-filing. The candidate must be extremely reliable, trustworthy, articulate, professional, punctual and have excellent organizational skills. The candidate may also be required to perform some day-to-day office administration tasks. The candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug screen to be considered for this position. Qualifications
