Duties

  • Partner with Project Manager to manage project budgets, general conditions, track field costs, review subcontractor change orders
  • Read and interpret plans, specifications, submittals & shop drawings to determine requirements and planning procedures
  • Supervise, schedule, coordinate subcontractor work activities and material deliveries
  • Create and manage comprehensive site logistics plan throughout all phases of work
  • Maintain high level of quality control by frequent and regular inspection of work in progress
  • Complete all reports and records in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure adherence to company safety and insurance policies, protocol and OSHA compliance
  • Analyze subcontractor production, manpower requirements and direct work to maintain project schedule
  • Conduct and participate in safety, quality and subcontractor progress meetings


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of commercial construction project supervision experience
  • Previous experience supervising projects above $20m.
  • Knowledge and experience managing commercial projects, design & general engineering principles, understanding construction techniques, industry standards & materials, sequencing work activities
  • Commitment to fostering strong construction safety culture and compliance with OSHA and safety plans
  • Understand the permitting process and how permits are utilized on the project for inspections/close out, etc.
  • Strong work ethic with a passion to fulfill commitments
  • 30 OSHA certification
