About Us: A top Labor & Employment law firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Employment Attorney to join their team and help continue to deliver outstanding legal representation and advice.
Position Overview: As an Employment Attorney you will be responsible for advising clients on a wide range of employment-related issues, including but not limited to wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and employment contracts. You will handle cases from inception through resolution, working closely with clients to understand their needs and advocating vigorously on their behalf.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal counsel to clients on employment law matters.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed legal documents and reports.
- Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and potential courses of action.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, severance packages, and other related documents.
- Stay current with changes in employment law and legal trends.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Manage a caseload efficiently and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Massachusetts Bar Association.
- 3-5 years of experience in employment law.
- Proven track record of successful case management and client representation.
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
