This candidate for this position must have the following experience in order to be considered:


Position Summary:

The Funder is one of the key factors in developing production for retail and wholesale reverse mortgage loans. The primary function of the funder is to pleasantly and proactively work with the branches or brokers in doing everything possible to close loans quickly and to minimize the effort to the branches. In short, this position is our best defense in keeping our sales force satisfied with our company. Service and attitude are key.

Production range for this position is expected to be from 50 to 80 loans per month.


Essential Duties:

• Draws loan documents and funds loans according to established timelines, regulations and procedures.

• Reviews approved loans to ensure that documents are complete, consistent and that requirements are met prior to close.

• Ensures data integrity.

• Coordinates and schedules closing.

• Creates and assembles documents for delivery to title or escrow.

• Reviews and prepares signed loan documents for funding.

• Obtains reviews and responds to needed PTF conditions. Prepares and packages loan funding documents.

• Review and respond to exception reports.

• Upload all final documents into company imaging system.
