Corporate Facilities Engineer

Purpose: This salaried position exists to provide engineering services; utilizing related principles and techniques to oversee new construction, renovation, maintenance of buildings, grounds, and infrastructure.


Essential functions

  • Planning: Conceptual, future, expansion, drawing layouts, and design for all locations (IN & ID).
  • Design: Work with all departments to facilitate and provide engineering services on a project by project basis.
  • Project management: Oversee projects and collaborate with contractors, provide costing, scheduling, and execution of projects.
  • Document Maintenance: Provide accurate records on all related facilities and grounds.

Experience / Knowledge

  • Requires 2 years minimum experience with 2D & 3D CAD with exposure to mapping, architectural renderings, floorplans and ability to comprehend print sets
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Ability to lead, facilitate, and work with all levels of a corporation.
  • Land surveying, basic understanding is preferred, but not required.

Necessary Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (required).
  • AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, or similar software (required).
  • Self-driven, strong; organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong technical communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in interactions with all organizational departments.
  • A commitment to LEAN practices, driving sustainable improvements.

Work Requirements

  • This position may require sitting, standing, and working in front of a computer monitor in an open office setting approximately 75% of the day.
  • This position regularly requires communicating with others; use of hands and fingers to operate phone, keyboard and other office tools; reaching with hands and arms.
  • This position is a full-time position, which may require some flexibility in hours and days worked.
  • Regular attendance is essential.
  • Requires ability to travel between field locations.
  • Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Remote work: not available.
