Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Drywall/Carpentry Project Manager to oversee and manage various projects in NYC, Nassau / Suffolk counties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, specifically in drywall and carpentry, and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of drywall and carpentry projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate project requirements and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors, including negotiating contracts and agreements.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Communicate regularly with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any concerns.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on drywall and carpentry projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction principles, practices, and techniques.
- Proven leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
