This is a customer-facing, sales-driven role focused on leasing, resident engagement, and maintaining strong occupancy at a professionally managed community.Company name will be shared during the screening process.Position OverviewThe Leasing Consultant serves as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents. This role is responsible for driving leasing activity, conducting tours, qualifying applicants, and supporting a smooth move-in and renewal experience. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, detail-driven, and motivated by closing deals.Key ResponsibilitiesActively prospect and generate leads through online marketing, property tours, and local outreachConduct engaging property and unit tours, highlighting community features and benefitsQualify prospects by reviewing applications, credit/background checks, and referencesDiscuss and negotiate lease terms, pricing, and move-in timelinesPrepare and process lease documentation, deposits, and move-in paperworkDeliver excellent customer service to prospects and residents, addressing questions and concerns promptlySupport resident retention efforts, including renewals and relationship managementMaintain accurate leasing records, activity logs, and reports for managementEnsure all leasing activities comply with local and state housing regulationsQualifications & SkillsProven experience in residential leasing or property management preferredStrong sales, closing, and negotiation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesHighly organized with strong attention to detailCustomer-focused mindset with a professional, approachable demeanorFamiliarity with property management software and leasing systemsKnowledge of the local rental market is a plusCompensation & DetailsHourly Rate: $25–26/hour + commissionSchedule: OnsiteLocation: Kent, WAStart Date: ASAPInterested candidates are encouraged to apply promptly.
