Supplier Coordinator/Expeditor

Hybrid (Onsite w/ suppliers 1-3 days per week in Sterling Heights, MI & Pontiac, MI)

$27.00-$30.00/hr


Responsibilities:

  • Own the purchase order follow up with suppliers and bottlenecks in supply chain
  • Work with multiple buyers and vendors to resolve supply chain issues
  • Expediting material for orders that were late and/or unconfirmed
  • Assure that all processes are on schedule
  • Update delivery dates and part numbers in SAP
  • Verify materials have been received and close out receipts or escalate internally
  • Resolve quantity disparities, posting goods receipts, and proof of delivery (POD)
  • Tracking purchase orders and project timelines


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' expeditor, purchasing, buyer, or supply chain related experience
  • 2+ years' experience navigating ERP systems required. (SAP and/or NetSuite is strongly preferred)
  • Experience with procurement processes including proof of delivery (POD) preferred
  • Experience posting goods receipts preferred
