We are working with a Fortune 500 Energy Company seeking an Ethics & Compliance Data Analyst. The Ethics & Compliance Data Analyst plays a crucial role at the intersection of law, data analysis, and communications. The role supports the company’s Ethics & Compliance team by providing data-derived insights, managing communication strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The analyst will help streamline processes, enhance decision making, and improve overall efficiency. Annual Salary is expected to be circa $110,000. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, further details of which the company will supply.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources.
  • Develop and maintain databases and data management systems.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Investigate and integrate data from disparate and varied data sources.
  • Conduct research to benchmark industry best practices.
  • Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to various stakeholders, summarizing compliance statistics, key findings, and recommendations.
  • Analyze data and conduct reviews to provide insights for risk mitigation.


Communication Management & Training

  • Coordinate and manage communication strategies for Ethics & Compliance matters based upon insights gained through data analysis and testing.
  • Communicate complex results and concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Design and deliver targeted training programs to educate employees about compliance requirements and ethical behavior, based on information obtained.


Project Management

  • Support Ethics & Compliance projects by managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth execution of Ethics & Compliance initiatives.
  • Track and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues.
  • Develop processes and tools that test, monitor, analyze, and continuously improve compliance programs.


Process Development and Optimization

  • Design and implement scalable processes for monitoring and enforcing compliance requirements.
  • Streamline existing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.


Additional Duties

  • Support ethics and compliance programs related to data analysis, risk assessments, dashboard development, and surveys.
  • Develop and execute testing strategies to assess the effectiveness of compliance programs.
  • Analyze testing results to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Data Science, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, as well as interpretation skills geared toward recognizing and interpreting data-driven insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and processes
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., PowerBI, Excel, SQL, Python)
  • Legal tech software/ experience with languages used to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • A curious mindset for continuous learning and improvement and the ability to break down large problems into smaller parts for simpler solutions
