Cross Country Search is recruiting for a Registered Nurse experienced treating geriatric patients in an outpatient setting, for an open RN - Nurse Educator position. The primary responsibilities of the Educator on the leadership team will be to supervise and evaluate nursing conformance to facility policies, procedures, and regulations, evaluate and reassess nursing interventions based on plan of care, develop and implement education plans in collaboration with employees, patients and families, and provide the leadership team with comprehensive recommendations concerning the educational needs of staff. This team of professionals work in a family-like facility, where everyone works together and pitches in to help. At times, the Educator could be asked to jump in and assist with patient care.
Requirements:
- Four years of registered nurse experience, treating geriatric patients within a long-term care facility.
- Registered Nurse license through the state of Georgia or compact license in good standing.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Team player with strong critical thinking skills.
