Job Overview: 

We are seeking two experienced barbers to join our team in the vibrant RiNo neighborhood in Denver, Colorado starting in May. Snow Leopard Barbershop is a brand new, independently owned barbershop which will feature a modern and classy barbershop experience, but with an eccentric twist - a secret speakeasy behind hidden doors, for exclusive use by the barbershop community we create. Snow Leopard's Mission: 

Snow Leopard’s mission is to create a unique barbershop experience that is more than just a haircut, by building a culture of friendship-making through not only the barber-to-client relationship, but also through an intimate speakeasy where family and friends can enjoy quality drinks. 

As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients. If you have a passion for barbering, enjoy creating stylish and trendy looks, and value connecting with clients, we would love to hear from you. 

Duties: 

- Provide barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and styling 

- Ensure all tools and equipment are sanitized and maintained properly 

- Assist with retail sales of hair care products and grooming accessories 

- Mentor junior barbers and provide guidance on techniques and trends 

- Utilize barbershop software for appointment scheduling and client management

-Assist with store management tasks such as inventory management and ordering supplies 

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques 

- Freedom to experiment with styles, share ideas, and contribute to our ever-evolving service menu 

Requirements: 

- Valid and current Barber or Cosmetology License 

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a practicing Barber or Cosmetologist 

- Show proficiency through portfolio and in-person test cut. 

Skills: 

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: 

- Strong knowledge of barbering techniques and trends 

- A passion for continuous improvement and learning 

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients 

- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area 

- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively 

Pay: 

- Commission-based pay, with tips. Commission paid weekly, tips paid daily. 

Schedule: 

- 40 hour work week, closed on Mondays. Second day off of your choosing, consistent weekly.
