Visa Solutions is a global recruiting, immigration and relocation agency that has an immediate opening for a knowledgeable and experienced Immigration Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration law, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients achieve their immigration goals.

The ideal candidate must be able to handle a busy docket of cases before government agencies under stringent deadlines; have superb communication skills and time management as well as possess excellent organizational and highly detailed oriented skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and consult on all migrant petitions processed
• Evaluate cases and provide case strategies and/or solutions to legal issues
• Perform legal research and prepare pleadings, propound discovery, prepare legal memoranda and/or briefs
• Analyze facts, patterns and complex legal issues to provide sound legal advice
• Prepare immigration-related filings to be submitted to government agencies
• Handle and maintain confidential information
• Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect immigration
• Handle a high-volume caseload, multiple deadlines, and other tasks simultaneously
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensure: Active and in good standing with the Texas state bar association.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience practicing immigration law.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of US immigration laws and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle a high-volume caseload, multiple deadlines, and other tasks simultaneously
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to client service.

Languages:

Proficiency in Spanish or another language is a plus.
