Kelly Services is currently seeking an Engineering Intern for one of our top clients in Anaheim, CA on a Contract to Direct Hire basis.


Ideal Candidate:

  • In college for engineering degree
  • Turning Junior or Sophomore in Fall 2024 preferred
  • Knowledge to use Google doc/sheet/slide
  • Knowledge to use MS word/excel/ppt
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Able to multitask and prioritize work
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder


Shift:

  • Day shift - Mon - Fri during the day time between 7:00AM to 5:00PM (flex based on summer availability and school schedule in the fall/winter)
  • Up to 40 hours a week while out of school & part-time when coursework begins (10-20 hours a week).


Compensation: $25.00/hr


Job Description:

  • As part of Site Operations you will provide support to Production and Process Engineering teams who is responsible for all manufacturing on site
  • This position will ensure safety is given the highest priority to personal and processes. You will also ensure that customers get a high quality products made right the first time and delivered when promised.


Key Tasks:

  • Identify and assist with continuous improvement projects on production units
  • Develop, track and analyze plant performance and Overall Equipment Effectiveness
  • Support work associated with sites digitalization ambitions
  • Develop standardized documentation forms, instructions, batch sheets, etc.
  • Assist with improving the organization and storage of information and equipment asset registers across site


Additional Skills:

  • You must have good communication skills, be thorough, accurate, self-motivated, flexible, a good team player yet able to proactively work alone.
  • You'll need to be ambitious, an excellent analytical thinker with a drive for getting things done.
  • Applicants should have advanced spreadsheet skills and be fully conversant with Google Workspace or MS Office.
  • Applicants need to be able to follow operating instructions and working procedures.
  • Should have the ability to carry out this work with minimum supervision and with due regard to the Health and Safety of themselves and others.
  • Fluent Technical English - written and spoken
