Job Title: Mobile Developer II

Location: Madison, WI (Onsite)

Position Overview:

We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an iOS or Android Mobile Application Developer. In this role, you will work in collaboration with a team to develop and maintain mobile application software.

We require a strong understanding of quality software delivery, an ability to translate business needs into technical requirements, and a commitment to meeting both internal and external customer needs.

Given the nature of this position, which involves working with technical personnel and business managers, as well as participating in project teams, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and possess analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Participate in various stages of the software development life cycle, following established methodologies.
  • Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including coding, testing, debugging, and installation, to support the organization's application systems.
  • Primarily responsible for developing, maintaining, and deploying mobile applications for both business-facing and factory customer needs.
  • Gather and analyze data, considering the requirements of business managers and end-users.
  • Work both independently and as part of a development team on projects of various sizes.
  • Analyze business application requirements for functional business areas and develop software specifications.
  • Conduct interviews with project stakeholders, document findings, and provide detailed recommendations.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of relational database practices, including experience with major enterprise database programs such as SQL Server or DB2.
  • Develop database objects and structures for data storage, retrieval, and reporting according to project specifications.
  • Design and develop back-end database interfaces for web, e-commerce, and IoT applications.
  • Utilize data modeling tools and methodologies and apply knowledge of database system applications and stored procedures.
  • Analyze organizational data requirements and create logical and physical data flow models.
  • Provide third-level application support for help desk tickets that cannot be resolved by junior developers or the help desk team.
  • Write code, debug software applications, and create IT test plans.
  • Develop software prototypes and recommend system changes and enhancements.

Types of Projects:

  • Develop non-consumer facing applications for partners, including designers, showrooms, and field service personnel.
  • Current pilot phase app for service partners (diagnostic app for Bluetooth IoT).
  • Future projects include a mobile installation app for installers and a showroom app for consultations.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

  • Proficiency in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience with IOT and Mobile Development.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Services and Enterprise CMS.
  • Experience with Dart and/or Flutter and/or Native tools.
  • Proficiency in languages such as C#, ASP .NET, JavaScript, and AJAX.
