In this important position, you will be responsible for the set-up, alignment tuning and testing of passive R.F. filter and multiplexing devices for space, military, and other hi-reliability applications. You will also be responsible for the set-up and operation of acceptance and qualification testing in strict compliance with established test procedures. You must be able to interpret electrical tuning instruction, acceptance test procedures. You will be responsible for the preparation of test data packages in accordance with established procedures as well as the accurate and timely processing of manufacturing records.


Responsibilities


  • Applicant must demonstrate the ability to tune RF devices. Filters, lumped element, Combline, multiplexers, etc.
  • Applicant must demonstrate a working knowledge of radio electronics equal to that gained by an associate's degree in electronics or equivalent military training.
  • You must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of network analysis and a familiarity with devices such as the PNA’s, 8720 or 8753 (to name a few).
  • You must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of various microwave test equipment, i.e., Strip Chart Recorders, Power Meters, etc.

Qualifications


  • You should have at least 5 years’ experience in the microwave component industry and experience in a space or flight qualified manufacturing environment.
  • Effective communication skills to work effectively with team members, supervisors, and other employees.
  • Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance.
