The base pay range for this position is $26 to $28 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer. This is a true temp-to-perm role; you can gain access to company benefits, paid time off, and more perks once you transition


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial and annual substance abuse assessments including substance abuse assessments.
  • Collaborate with clients and staff in the development of the initial comprehensive service plans and plan revisions, including identifying mutually agreed upon long and short-term substance abuse related goals.
  • Provide individual, and group substance abuse counseling.
  • Advocacy and referrals to community-based substance abuse programs as needed.
  • Documents all services provided in a timely manner as required.
  • Participate in training, workshops, seminars and case conference as well as meetings was required.
  • Arrange for in-patient substance abuse treatment.
  • Educate clients and staff on harm reduction.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field
  • Valid CASAC or CASAC-T
  • Experience with individuals with HIV/AIDS, chronic mental illness, and/or chemical dependence and their families is a plus
