We are seeking a highly creative marketing expert and interior designer to conceptualize, design and set-up short-term rentals for our clients
The role will involve flying out to clients properties around the U.S. to furnish and set up AirBNB properties. You will be in charge of conceptualizing the design, sourcing and ordering furniture timed with the project start date, and on-site staging.
You will be staying at the vacant property that you are furnishing. One hotel night and rental car provided. The typical time frame away is 7 days minimum and 10 days maximum per project. Pre-project planning and post-project wrap up will be done from home.
Our ideal candidate should be confident in communicating with the client to manage pre-project checklists and ensure the property is design-ready, have great creative skills and be able to think on their feet. The candidate should maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and short-term rental trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients and help drive revenue with their designs. This role allows you to have creative freedom and requires a great eye for unique and vibrant designs to ensure that properties will do well financially on short term rental platforms.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize vibrant and unique themes for each individual property
- Manage pre-project checklists with clients to ensure properties are design-ready
- Place orders and time furniture deliveries with your project fly-in date
- Assemble and set up furniture, hang artwork, create accent walls, style beds and outfit kitchens
- Set up amenities such as games, grills and fire pits to create a great experience for Airbnb Guests
- Install Smart Lock systems (training provided)
- Managing team of handymen, cleaners, and photographers
- Communicate effectively and consistently with client, team and vendors
- Handle any returns necessary before leaving the site
- Create final expense reports for your clients
- Attend company meetings
Qualifications:
- Experience in interior design (Formal or Informal)
- Experience in marketing + branding, themed properties, merchandising and display concepts highly preferred
- Must have portfolio (Formal or Informal)
- Strong creative, communication, and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to take sole responsibility for project success
- Track expenses for each project
- Be friendly, reliable, and personable
Pay
- Pay is per project — you will have the opportunity to do 1-2 projects per month.
- The pay is $1.10 per/sq ft of listed space with a minimum of $2250.
- Opportunities for bonuses and increased pay with more successful projects complete
Note: This pay includes any planning, set up, post project communication, expense reports and returns.
- The average project should take 7-10 days.
- We will cover travel costs including flight and rental car as well as a food stipend while on-site.
