Brooksource is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead QA Engineer Our client is looking for someone who can lead the testing of several high-priority health insurance applications while driving the enhancement of their digital presence. Your efforts will be focused around directly enhancing the customer experience for Medicare and Medicaid members on both web and mobile applications.


The ideal candidate will develop and implement testing best practices, ensuring the highest quality of our digital products. You will oversee the testing of a large development team while contributing to the continuous enhancement of their testing practices and helping to implement automation or appropriate tools when necessary. This role requires a deep understanding of Selenium, both automation and manual testing, A/B testing, and strong communication


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Testing Strategies: Design and establish comprehensive testing strategies and best practices to ensure the quality and performance of digital products.
  • Automation Testing: Lead the development and execution of automated test scripts using Selenium or other automation tools.
  • A/B Testing: Plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests to optimize user experiences and product performance.
  • Tool Utilization: Utilize SiteSpect, or a similar tool, for A/B testing and optimization. and leverage Adobe tools such as Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) for analytics and reporting.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior QA testers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and communication with development teams.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of digital products, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality goals and deliverables.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA testing, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Selenium, automation testing frameworks, A/B testing methodologies, SiteSpect, and Adobe tools such as AJO.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership abilities, with experience mentoring and guiding junior team members.
