ROLES IN THE SPPI SERVICE DEPARTMENT ARE BASED AROUND AN 8 HOUR SHIFT WITH .5 HOUR LUNCH PER DAY 5 DAYS PER WEEK. OUR WORKLOAD FLUCTUATES WITH CUSTOMER DEMAND AND MARKET CONDITION. SPPI WILL DO OUR BEST TO PROVIDE STEADY WORK IN A SAFE WORK ENVIRONMENT FOR OUR STAFF, HOWEVER THIS IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF SHIFT DURATIONS. IN AN EFFORT TO PROVIDE BETTER TEAMWORK, ADDITIONAL COMPANY GROWTH, AND STABILITY OF WORK DURING THE SLOWER TIMES WE EXPECT OUR STAFF TO BE OPEN TO WORK IN OTHER DEPARTMENTS AS THE SITUATION ARISE. JOB SCOPES CHANGE AS THE PRODUCT AND MARKET CHANGES. THIS POSITION IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE OVER TIME. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Follow all regulations and policies set forth by SPPI, OSHA, and any other governing agency of the work areas including customers when appropriate.
2.Assist in ensuring company policies and safety culture are being followed and continuously improved on.
3.Assist with overall service writer workload including but not limited to; inbound calls, outbound calls, front counter customer service, job board update or audit, lot audit, foreman updates, invoice story prep, invoice pricing prep, repair estimate corrections, work approval updates, invoicing (all types).
4.Create quotes, open repair orders, process warranties, and prepare invoicing and help throughput of service repair orders in ASPPIRA.
5.Update and assist in job throughout in Salesforce for contract maintenance.
6.Managing the customer’s experience, maintaining high levels of customer service.
7.Time entry & verification.
8.Recap updates from project managers information.
9.WIP reporting.
10.Branch training program renewal management including technical, safety, policy, and other programs/certificates.
11.Internal service repair order coordinating & processing.
12.Travel training requests and follow through.
13.Time off request input and management.1
4.Employee craft code updates.
15.Advertising assistance.
16.Internal & external meeting / event coordinating.
17.New hire on-boarding coordination.
18.Efficiency reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
•Clean and organized work habits providing good housekeeping standards before, during, and after work.
•Consistent safe work habits and excellent safety culture attitude, helping the company reach the goals for our safe work environments.
•Good people skills for work interdepartmentally as well as direct with our customers.
•Positive helpful attitude finding workable solutions and being willing to participate in the needs of the company and customers.
•Knowledge and experience with customer billing and payment systems.
•Able to perform a combination of sitting, standing, lifting up to 50lbs, and driving for a minimum of an 8hour shift and a maximum of a 14-hour shift per day witha maximum of 6 consecutive shifts without a full day off.
•Able to wear appropriate PPE & work attire for full shift duration.
•Bi-lingual Spanish and English is preferred and may be compensated for.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
•The standard administration pay grade and scale will apply.
•The standard vacation accrual schedule will apply.
•The standard full-time employee benefits package will apply.
EXCEPTIONS
•In some situations, it may be necessary to have an employee start in this role that is not currently qualified in one way or another. In those situations, a probation period may be established for the employee to get up to the standard for this role.
