Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will be a key finance partner across the organization to drive our growth strategy. Business and analytical skills will be applied to translate metrics and data sets into trending and actionable information for management. Responsible for supporting our sales and operations teams using data analysis insights and financial modeling. The focus will be to help enable sales growth by highlighting issues and opportunities to sales leadership, so they can make the best data-informed decisions possible.

Responsibilities

  • Take data, understand it, process it, extract value from it, and communicate it visually / verbally to team members and management across the organization
  • Translate data analytics into clear visualizations and concise presentations
  • Complete ad hoc requests for reports and analysis from all levels of the organization including senior leadership
  • Support users across the organization answering questions, making recommendations and providing a transparent view of priorities and progress
  • Develop and track ROI models for strategic investments
  • Perform variance analysis and work with stakeholders to identify drivers of key variances


Qualifications

  • Education - Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science or related field
  • Experience – Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a financial analyst or related role with duties including analysis, business intelligence and reporting. Experience in directly supporting a sales organization and/or in an industrial distribution environment is required
  • Required: Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Emphasis on the ability to refine complex issues into understandable formats to all levels of the organization
  • Required: Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
