Position Overview:

Performs a vital role in designing and developing systems for manufacturing operations. May also design layout, materials, and information flow or machine placement. Responsible for increasing production efficiency by evaluating performance and proposing and implementing improvements.


Responsibilities:

  • problems with processes and hardware
  • preventative maintenance
  • with others in order to determine problems and implement solutions
  • opportunities to increase efficiency with automation
  • and design automation technology
  • a connection between information inputs, controllers and outputs
  • tests and simulations to ensure the systems work as intended
  • defects or errors in technology
  • installing, testing and managing electrical or mechanical automation
  • specifications for new launch equipment
  • new launch equipment



Education/Requirements:

  • degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • years of experience as an Automation Engineer
  • (Computer Aided Design) experience
  • Bradley PLC programming experience
  • system experience
