Supervisor of Business Systems

Overall Responsibilities

The Supervisor, Business Systems is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including xTuple and SAP. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in ERP systems, project management experience, excellent communication skills, and a background in manufacturing. Fostering a culture of inclusion and diversity.

Specific Key Responsibilities & Duties

Supervise:

  • Supervise the maintenance, implementation, and optimization of the company's ERP systems, including xTuple and SAP.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Manage projects related to the company's business systems, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users where required for business systems and processes.
  • Prioritize, balance, multitask competing issues with deference to urgency, length of outstanding time and political sensitivity

Technology:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in ERP systems and make recommendations for upgrades or changes.
  • Work to ensure locally relevant technology solutions are implemented and maintained.
  • Ensure appropriate IT toolsets are utilized by business users
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high quality, professional, service levels
  • Upgrade and continuously evolve the technology infrastructure through individual knowledge of emerging technologies

c) Governance:

  • Ensure appropriate levels of security, availability and redundancy for the business systems of the organisation are maintained.
  • Maintain ISO 27001 certification standards
  • Maintain, follow and enhance as necessary, any appropriate SOPs for IT department
  • Support and enforce any IT related Policies
  • Working in compliance with the company's Health & Safety Policies/SOPs including but not limited to the Safety Responsibilities Procedure
  • Focusing on positive environmental impacts with all projects
  • Comply with all associated GMP Practices

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related field
  • Five (5) years in IT
  • One (1) year in a leadership role
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent computer and technical knowledge
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve under pressure
